Christmas Time

Sunday we had the annual Riding Christmas party. It was a lot of fun, and a lot of good food! The kids all love when Santa shows up and has a present for each of them. Last year Oakley was terrified of Santa. She was excited as long as she didn't have to get close to him. She couldn't have been more different this year. Santa walked in, and she ran over and gave him a big hug! Everyone stopped what they were doing, and stood there with their mouths open. (Everyone remembered last year!) It was pretty funny. I'm glad that she got over her fear of him!

We finally got some snow today! I can't believe that it is almost Christmas, and this is the first big snow storm we've had. Oakley saw it this morning, and couldn't wait to get out in it and play! So thats what she did this morning for a while. I went out with her later and tried to make a snow man, but the snow wasn't wet enough. Maybe we'll get to make one soon!

She loves making snow angels!

The Grinch

So Oakley discovered the movie How the Grinch Stole Christmas! We have to watch it at least once a day now! She thinks it is so funny. It is the version with Jim Carrey in it. He did such a good job. Fun Christmas movies!

My redheads!

I am so thankful for my redheads! I tease alot about living with 2 redheads, but I wouldn't change that for anything! Cade and Oakley are so funny together. They were playing and wrestling around yesturday after Cade got home from work, and Oakley asked Cade if she could marry him! I can't think of anything cuter than a little girl wanting to marry her daddy! It makes me so happy to see the two of them together like that! I have a great family, and I love them both!

Las Vegas

Me and Cade just spent the weekend in Vegas! We went down on Thursday and came home on Sunday. We went to the PBR on Thursday and Friday nights, and then on Saturday we went to a comedy show by Rodney Carrington! He is freaking hillarious! It was so fun to get away with Cade and have some time with just the two of us! I love you Cade, thanks for a super fun weekend! And thanks to Mom and Dad for watching Oakley for us!

Saturday we went to the Shark Reef they have at the Mandalay Bay. It was so cool! I loved it! Then we went to the Bodies Exibit. Man that was crazy. It was really cool though.

These sting rays were in a little pool that was open so we could pet them. Crazyness!

Halloween and Fall Days

Oakley was a southern belle for Halloween this year. The light green of the dress went so pretty with her red hair! I spent an hour curling her hair with a small curling iron. She looked so cute!

Yes she has attitude!

Her beautiful hair

She wanted to carve a pumpkin the other day, so we got all ready, and then she wouldn't put her hand in and pull the guts out. She didn't want to get her hand dirty! I made her touch some of it, and she freaked out and ran to wash her hands!!
