Halloween

We had a good Halloween this year. Oakley was a witch and Kix was a monkey. We made the rounds trick or treating, and the kids got lots of candy!

Oakley loved her witch costume! I thought she looked very pretty!
Kix had the cutest monkey costume (thanks to Angi!).
He looked super cute in it!

I was hoping to get a picture of the kids together with both of them smiling, but Kix wouldn't cooperate. Poor guy was really tired.

My pretty girl!

My cute little guy!

The pumpkin on my face is the extent of my dressing up!

The Zoo

We decided to take the kids to the zoo a couple weeks ago. This was Kix's first time and Oakley hadn't been for a couple years, so it was fun to see their reactions! Kix got so excited, squealed, and talked like crazy when he saw all the animals! It was really really cute! Oakley was just anxious to see everything. We would look at one animal for just a minute before she was asking what animal we were going to see next! We had to stop and see the baby elephant a couple different times. It was a cute little thing! I'm glad that we decided to take them this year and that we had such a fun family day!

We had to let them ride on the carousel. Oakley stood there looking at all the animals trying to decide which one she wanted to ride. She picked a few different ones before deciding on the giraffe!

Kix thought this was just the funnest! He just laughed and smiled the whole time!

Oh Boy!

So Kix is one of those kids that we have to close the bathroom door or else he gets into anything he can. Including the toilet..Yuk! So the other day I got done showering and went to go get dressed. Well I forgot to close the bathroom door, and when I came out of my room this is what I came out to! He had taken probably half a roll of toilet paper and it was all over my living room! This boy definately keeps me on my toes!!!!!

Curlformers & the first day of school

Oakley started school last wednesday. She looked so big this year! It is crazy that I have a first grader. I love this little girl, but I was kinda excited for school to start. She gets bored really easy, so its been good for her to have things to do all day!

A couple weeks ago we put curlformers in Oakleys hair. She thought she looked really silly with them in, but when we took them out the curls we got were very pretty!
I love Kix in these pictures! He's just peeking around to see the camera

Pretty Girl!!

Oakleys Birthday

My little girl turned 6 a couple weeks ago! She is getting so big. We had a birthday party in Oak City with cake, ice cream, and presents. Thanks everyone for making her birthday a good one!

1 Year Pictures

I haven't been good at blogging this summer, and I have a few that I need to put up, so I'll start with this one and try to do more tomorrow! :)
I went and got pictures of Kix done last month. I think they turned out pretty cute! I had to do a couple with both him and Oakley.

I think I have some cute kids!!!

I just loved this one! He is starting to look like such a big boy!

Lots of stuff

Its been a few weeks since I posted, so I have lots of stuff. These first pictures are from the 24th of July. Oakley and Kix had so much fun at the parade! They got tons of candy, and had a fun time!

I love this tie shirt of Kixs! He is such a handsome boy!

My very beautiful girlie!

She was so nice to give Kix some of her candy!

My two boys!!!

We got some polywogs from Shannon and Kyle (thanks guys!) and we watched them turn to frogs! It was fun releasing them into our garden and watching them jump around!

Oakley played T Ball this year! It was fun to watch her learn as she played. The first game none of the kids knew how to run bases, and by the last one they did so good!

She loved playing!

Oakleys team

Oakley has been playing with her slip-n-slide a lot this summer. Sometimes she convinces kolton to come over and play with her. Well Kix decided that he wanted to play too, so he went out and started slippin around!

We have been having a fun time this summer! Kix has really like having Oakley home all day to play with, but I think Oakley will be excited to go back to school so she won't be so bored.
