Grammy

My sweet Grammy passed away last night. I am so sad that she is gone, yet so happy that she is finally where she wants to be! I will forever miss her sweet smile and the way she always made me feel so loved. I will always remember her yummy bread, spaghetti, and fun weekends at her house! I am greatful that she finally got to meet Kix last month and that I got to see her one last time while she was still well. I bet she was so happy to finally see Grandpa again and that their reunion was a sweet one! (after she cussed him for not coming to get her sooner :)) She was the best example and was so loving. I am very thankful for all the time we had together through the years! I Love you Grammy and will miss you always!

My 4 generation pictures I got a month ago.

Waiting for the bus

The other day we were waiting for the bus, and Kix was sitting on the couch with Oaks looking out the window. (Oakley is watching for the bus, and who knows what Kixy was seeing) I thought it would be the cutest picture! They love to spend time together! Oakley gets excited if she gets to see him before she leaves for school, and Kix loves to see her in the mornings! Hopefully they stay friends and don't fight much as they get older! :)
I am very thankful for my sweet kids!

Easter

I have been aweful at blogging lately, So here are a couple..

We had a good Easter this year. The kids got church clothes, The Princess and the Frog movie, and a bunch of candy. Me and Oakley had colored eggs on Saturday, so Sunday Cade went and hid them and we went and found them all! The Easter Bunny also left a few plastic eggs in the kids rooms that had some money in them! It was a good quiet weekend.

Showing off their eggs!

Kix did not want to give up his eggs! Everytime I would put them in his basket he would immediately grab one for each hand!

9 months Old!

Kix is now 9 months old!
He is getting so big, and is very very close to finally crawling!
I took him to the dr last monday and he weighs 21 lbs and is 28 3/4 inches long. 75% all around. He is getting so fun!
He loves to try and get his daddys attention by making loud noises at him!
He LOVES his sissy and she makes him laugh so hard all the time!!
He has also started fake crying. He will squint his eyes and pretend to cry. It is so funny!
I love him so much, and am so glad to have a little boy in the house!!!

Doesn't he look so big in this picture!!

He LOVES playing with his daddy!

We had to put him in Oakleys "jammies". I think he looks alot like she did!
And Oakley couldn't wait till he took them off. I think she was afraid he would try and take them away from her!!

Random

Here are some random pictures of things going on in our house lately.
Oakley would not let me throw this box away, and she was playing inside it and stuff. Well when Cade got home from work she had him cut out eyes, a mouth, and arm holes. For DAYS after, she wore this around the house constantly! This was a few weeks ago, and she still won't let me throw it away!!

Kix chillin out in Oakleys camo camping chair!!

He is starting to really like playing with things, and so I got out the walker. Here is Kix playing around. He usually lasts about 10 minutes in it!

Kix had to get tubes in his ears on Tuesday. He did really well. While we were there, he kept smiling at the nurse and she told me that we can't stop having kids because we make super cute ones! I've always thought my kids were cute, but it's nice to hear someone else tell you they are! Anyway sorry about the "proud mom" momment!
